Red, White, and Blue

When it comes to the holidays I am always one to celebrate and I like to dress accordingly. However i'm not always one for a cheesy, overly done look. With 4th of July in just a few days I thought this was the ideal red, white, and blue ensemble that is perfectly polished. Summer Staple: White Shorts

Summer has officially commenced and with the current heat wave, i've been distracting myself with ensembles consisting of bright hues, light flowy fabrics, and simple silhouettes. These white linen shorts are the perfect summer essential; they're great to pair with heels or for casual outings. I'm currently loving the orange and teal color combination of this necklace it compliments my orange blouse perfectly. When it comes to jewelry I'm typically drawn towards more simple pieces that I can wear every day. These dainty Dogeared necklaces fit just right and I love that each one has a significant meaning. Summer Spotlight: Steve Madden

Steve Madden has consistently been my go-to shoe all year long, they always have the best selection at an affordable price, and this season is no exception. Currently I'm loving the Steve Madden 'Sutttle' sandal with its gold hardware and multi colored weaved backing it's the perfect summer sandal to be dressed up or dressed down.
