With it being the first official day of spring, this dress
only seemed appropriate to celebrate. Might I add this could just be the cutest
dress I’ve ever slipped on. Bright colors, an over sized bow and a cinched waist,
it pretty much ticks every box on my fussy dress criteria list. There is something about a dainty bow that
gives an outfit a feminine and fresh look. Bows have made numerous appearances on the
runways this past season and I plan stock my closet full of this pretty
trend. I paired this dress with
turquoise jewelry and an oversized straw bag, perfect for those days by the water. What trends are you currently coveting?

Mixed Prints
Mixing unexpected prints is huge this spring and has been gracing the runways worldwide. It's one of my favorite ways to update my wardrobe and put together something out of the ordinary. I thought it would be fun to mix a Chevron print romper with an oversized snakeskin clutch. The key for mixing prints is pairing like colors. I love how these two prints end up complimenting each other! What do you think about mixing prints?

Bright Ruffles
Lately, when getting dressed in the morning I've started to wear the same mundane outfit so I decided to spruce up my closet with this yellow one shoulder ruffle top that moves so beautifully. Paired with gold jewelry and a navy mini skirt to match this warm weather we're having. I love mixing different textures and patterns to create a look that is both feminine and fun. What textures are you mixing this season?

Color Summer
With the weather heating up, white is my favorite go to color. White is the perfect blank canvas to show off your tan, experiment with bright prints and add that extra unexpected pop of color you wouldn't typically add. This week I paired my white Joe Jean skinny's with a bright blazer and an orange quilted clutch for a casual put together look. All of which you can find at any three of our locations along with a huge selection of bright accessories and tops to spring into summer with. What is your favorite go to color?

Spring Hues
With spring finally here, color blocking and statement necklaces are my two favorite trends that will be getting worn a lot this year. This coral hue is one of my favorite colors to wear this spring, with both my make up {particularly lip sticks} and in my outfits. Which is why I love this dress so much and particularly favorable to the intricate detailing on the sleeve and sheer flowy sleeves. Perfect for an early morning brunch with the girls! What are your favorite colors to wear this spring?

Stripes and Bows
With spring right before us and the temperature slowly warming up, I am loving this Micheal Star striped dress for all occasions. The cotton fabric is great for running errands, by the pool, or even dressed up with a pair of nude wedges. The versatility makes it one of my favorite go-to's that I can't wait to live in all summer long. Today I paired it with an over sized floppy hat, gold jewelry and a weaved clutch for a causal lunch with friends. Pick your Micheal Star dress up today before they're all gone! Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Seeing Double
Currently I can't get enough of bright colors and to no surprise these colored shorts are a must for the warm months ahead. Pairing a brightly colored short with a simple top creates color blocking in a subtle and simple way; along with a statement piece necklace to complete the casual look. Adding color to your ensemble is a great way to update your current wardrobe even if it's just with a colorful accessory. Even though it's easy to put on all black I dare you to step out of your comfort zone and reach for new colors to wear this upcoming year. Get a jump start on spring and come in today to stock your wardrobe with bold prints and colorful pieces!
